The fact of lung damage in smokers is indisputable

The fact of lung damage in smokers is indisputable

Smokers' lungs may not immediately experience the negative effects of smoking. However, the poisons contained in a cigarette slowly but surely will weaken and damage lung function so that the lungs cannot work properly. This is the forerunner of lung disease.

Damage to the lungs of smokers in many cases is admittedly not a meaningful lesson to stop smoking, only after developing lung disease, remember ... what is the danger of smoking. Smokers' lungs will gradually become damaged due to the various toxins contained in a cigarette, so what is the toxic content that seems so scary.

Several types of toxins contained in a cigarette can destroy the lungs of smokers, including those of you who are reading this article:

  • Nicotine. Nicotine is a gas that is colorless but has a characteristic odor. Nicotine has the ability to suppress hunger and lead to anemia and dehydration. The effect of smoking on the lungs is mostly due to the excessive amount of nicotine that has entered the lungs.
  • Tar. The brownish liquid that is on the surface of wood and charcoal from the sap of the tobacco tree is believed to have the side effect of causing lung cancer. The effect of smoking on the lungs is most often caused by tar attacks that settle in the lung tissue.
  • Pyridine. Pyridine is a liquid with a strong odor which has the ability to dissolve, bind and evaporate with relatively fast absorption like alcohol.
  • Acetol. Acetol is a substance resulting from the incorporation of volatile aldehyde substances such as liquid alcohol and can dissolve the thick color of the wax base material.
  • Methyl Chlorida. Methyl chloride is a poisonous substance because its vapor can harm the nerves of the brain as strong as the drug's character. This substance is a combination of hydrogen and carbon which acts as the main element.
  • Hydrogen Sulfide. Hydrogen sulfide is a light gas that easily accumulates in high temperature air so it is flammable and has a distinctive smell. This substance can clog the oxidation of enzymes in the body.
  • Acrolein. Acrolein is a liquid but colorless substance found in Glyceril where it contains alcohol which easily evaporates with air.
  • Ammonia. Ammonia is a colorless gas and is poisonous and has a strong odor, namely nitrogen and hydrogen which can cause a person to pass out and go into a coma if it enters the bloodstream or arteries of the body even in small amounts.
  • Phenol. Phenol is a unique substance produced from the process of distillation of organic substances such as wood and charcoal which has the ability to block the activity of enzymes in the body. The effect of smoking on the lungs is largely controlled by the phenol substance present in cigarettes.
  • Carbon monoxide. Carbon monoxide gas is light and odorless. The gas is produced from the combustion process that occurs in the human body. Gs is toxic if it enters the body with hemoglobin in the muscles because it causes the body to be deprived of oxygen and the body is weak. The effect of smoking on the lungs is largely due to the fact that a cigarette contains carbon dioxide, which has a higher dose of nicotine and tar.
  • Methanol. Methanol is a substance that easily accumulates in sunlight or at hot temperatures so it burns easily. If it enters the lung tissue, it will cause irritation and blindness if it is exposed to the retina of the eye.

BAD CONDITIONS THAT ATTACK THE LUNGS OF SMOKERS.

Adverse impact on the lungs of smokers Active and passive smokers are equally at risk of developing diseases that are not only related to heart health but also lung health. Among them:

1. Lung cancer. Smoking for years and not balanced with food smoker's lungs which are highly nutritious can put a person at risk of severe irritation and swelling of the lining of the lung tubes. Conditions like this cause the lungs to change the shape of healthy cells into abnormal cells in the DNA, which triggers the emergence of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease which can cause a person to develop lung cancer.

2. The lungs experience emphysema (inflammation). Tobacco smoke that fills lung tissue can continuously damage blood vessels through the lung walls. This condition causes the lung structure of smokers to experience severe inflammation and can reduce the amount of lung tissue which actually has the function of spreading oxygenated blood and oxygen from the air to the blood tissues.

3. Spots on the lungs. Cigarette smoke can cause spots on the lungs which are usually preceded by symptoms of a prolonged coughing cough, pulmonary muscle spasms and shortness of breath which causes fainting in some people.

4. Lung irritation. Cigarette smoke that enters the lung tissue causes an increase in mucus in the lungs. This condition can cause cilia paralysis. Cilia are tiny fine hairs that line the air filter ducts and dirt. An increase in the amount of mucus in the lungs causes irritation and decreases the function of the lungs itself.

5. Hardening of the pulmonary artery walls. Toxic substances in cigarette tobacco smoke can settle and stay in smokers' lung tissue for years and experience hardening and thickening of the pulmonary artery walls so that the work of the lungs becomes slower and triggers abnormalities in its function. This condition causes a person to experience shortness of breath and chest pain.

6.Dirty lungs. The content of tar, nicotine and other substances in cigarettes can pollute and contaminate the lungs and turn them into cloudy and susceptible to various bacteria. Tar and all the substances that are smoked can jump in the lungs so that blood flow around the lungs is blocked and not smooth. This condition can cause the chest to feel heavy, pain and shortness of breath or shortness of breath.

7. The pulmonary arteries are narrowed. Smoking since adolescence causes the amount of blood around the lungs to be very small. This is because cigarette smoke is a carcinogen or is able to enter blood vessels and clog them so that blood flow is not smooth. This condition can make the smoker's lungs lose their ability to distribute oxygen throughout the body.

8. Lung tissue structure changes. Cigarette smoke can cause alveoli damage to the lung tissue, which can lead to inflammation and narrowing of the airways. Changed lung function causes obstructive pulmonary disease such as asthma, acute bronchitis and severe pulmonary inflammation. GOOD JUICE FOR SMOKING LUNGS The following juices are good for lung health, but it will mean nothing if you don't stop smoking.

Avocado juice. Ripe avocado has a very high potassium substance so it is good for the lungs. Potassium acts as a tonic that cleanses the lungs of smokers

which is polluted by cigarette smoke and is assisted by the performance of the liver and kidneys so that toxins are easily excreted through sweat and urine.

2. Pineapple Juice. It also has a positive impact on smoker's lungs. Pineapple has vitamins and minerals that can act as active antioxidants that protect the respiratory system due to cigarette nicotine attacks, so that the lungs are free from cigarette smoke pollution. The effect of smoking on human lungs has been successfully cured because of the diligent consumption of pineapple juice once a day with a moderate dose or medium sized cup.

3. Orange juice. Oranges contain vitamin C and anti-inflammatory which is strong so that it can help liver tissue to speed up the process of cleaning smokers' lungs from toxins caused by smoking. Diligently consuming citrus drinks every day can destroy the hardening of the lung tissue due to the deposition of toxins resulting from the buildup of nicotine over the years.

4. Apple juice. Apples are delicious fruits that have the nutrients needed to cleanse the lungs of smokers from the residual nicotine waste from cigarette smoke. The nutrients in apples are able to repair the body's cells to avoid the movement of cancer cells, including lung cancer.

If we follow the advice of experts in the health sector, smoking is a wasteful action that is very damaging to health, including the lung health of smokers themselves.
