  • Hydrogen Sulfide. Hydrogen sulfide is a light gas that easily accumulates in high temperature air so it is flammable and has a distinctive smell. This substance can clog the oxidation of enzymes in the body.
  • Acrolein. Acrolein is a liquid but colorless substance found in Glyceril where it contains alcohol which easily evaporates with air.
  • Ammonia. Ammonia is a colorless gas and is poisonous and has a strong odor, namely nitrogen and hydrogen which can cause a person to pass out and go into a coma if it enters the bloodstream or arteries of the body even in small amounts.
  • Phenol. Phenol is a unique substance produced from the process of distillation of organic substances such as wood and charcoal which has the ability to block the activity of enzymes in the body. The effect of smoking on the lungs is largely controlled by the phenol substance present in cigarettes.
  • Carbon monoxide. Carbon monoxide gas is light and odorless. The gas is produced from the combustion process that occurs in the human body. Gs is toxic if it enters the body with hemoglobin in the muscles because it causes the body to be deprived of oxygen and the body is weak. The effect of smoking on the lungs is largely due to the fact that a cigarette contains carbon dioxide, which has a higher dose of nicotine and tar.

Adverse impact on the lungs of smokers Active and passive smokers are equally at risk of developing diseases that are not only related to heart health but also lung health. Among them:
